Boards are used for active planing, while Board Templates are there to eliminate repetitave work that happens when a new board is created. With Board Templates we create a workflow structure that can then be used for creating any number of active Boards once we need them.

Task templates allow us to add aditional fields to our tasks. Once created, this template can then be used for other similar tasks on the Board as well.
Board templates hold a general structure of a tipycal project activity, that can then be used with each new project. This structure includes stages, tasks, task relations, duration of tasks, as well as input and output documentation.
